Chairman of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the Black Stars Brazil 2014 World Cup scandal, Justice Senyo Dzamefe, has cautioned the media to be mindful of their reportage on the commission's work.
According to Justice Dzamefe "I don't want to intimidate anyone. Nobody stops the media from reporting but if you are reporting please report on the truth because like I said earlier we have the powers of the High Court."
The three-member commission was inaugurated by the Minister of Youth and Sports Mahama Ayariga on Monday, August 4 and was sworn in by Supreme Court judge, Justice Joseph Bawa Akamba.
Justice Senyo Dzamefe, an Appeals Court Judge, Moses Foh-Amoaning, Lawyer and sports administrator and Kofi Anokye Owusu Darko, former management member of Hearts of Oak and a businessman are the members to serve on the Commission.
�People are so passionate about football in the country and we thank the president for having faith in us for this commission,� Justice Dzamefe remarked.
"Ghana has been a football country, everybody was sad following our early exit from the competition," he noted.
According to Justice Dzamefe, the commission is there to find out the happenings and not to witch hunt anybody.
�We are here to find solutions to the happenings so they don�t repeat themselves again.�
The Commission which is set up under article 278 of the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana will begin its work on Monday, 11th August.
