The guardsman prefers to move to Europe to continue with his career after helping the Brazilians to win the South African top-flight this season.
Mamelodi Sundowns defender Rashid Sumaila has revealed that he is open to a good offer from Europe after being named in the Black Stars's provisional squad for the World Cup.
The Ghana international defender recently helped the Braziliansclinch their record sixth Absa Premiership title.
"It feels really good winning the league and then being recalled up to the national team. I thank Almighty God for all of this," Sumaila told Goal.
Since the arrival of Bafana Bafana international Thabo Nthethe in January at Downs, the 21-years old player struggled to command a regular spot in the starting line-up.
This led to Sumaila being relegated to the bench, in the process he lost his place in the Ghana national team, and the lanky player missed a few Black Stars international friendlies.
The Cape Coast born defender who made 22 Absa Premiership appearances for Downs, has been heavily linked with a move abroad throughout the season.
"As for going overseas, I'm still happy at Sundowns. But if the offer is good and my team accepts it, then I'll leave for Europe," he concluded.
