The Kumasi residence of Ghana goalkeeper Isaac Amoako has been gutted by fire, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The Asante Kotoko goalkeeper has just returned from South Africa where he was part of the home-based Black Stars squad that finished second at the CHAN tournament.
Fortunately, no life was lost in the inferno but all vital materials belonging to the 30-year-old within the premises was destroyed.
The cause of the fire is yet to emerge with ongoing investigations into the unfortunate incident.
Amoako was set to rejoin his club as they prepared for their CAF Champions League opener against Barrack Young Controllers this Sunday in Kumasi.
It is now unclear of he will still be part of coach Mas-Ud Dramani�s plans with the latest development.
