Jamaican sprint king Usain Bolt and her compatriot helly-Ann Fraser-Pryce were presented with the IAAF Athlete of the year Awards Saturday in Monaco.
It was an event for the Jamaicans as English long distance runner Mo Farah was beaten to it by Usain Bolt. This makes Bolt the fifth time winner of the award in six years after defending both his 100m and 200m titles at the World Championships in Moscow
He won the 200m final in a world-leading time of 19.66 seconds and implied that a sub-19 second time was the target as he said: "This 'season I want to get ready to attack the world record.'
