Ghana's injury worries have reached the highest crescendo as goalkeeper Richard Kingson limped off while in action for his club in the Cypriot top-flight on Saturday.
The 35-year-old had to be replaced in the 58th minute by Michalis Morphis as his side [Doxa] were defeated 2-0 by Apollon Limassol on Monday night.
Doxa doctors will perform immediate scan and find out whether Kingson will be fit in time to play for Ghana against Egypt.
Already, the Black Stars have lost defenders Jonathan Mensah and John Boye to injuries while Harrison Afful is suspended.
Influential midfielder Kevin-Prince also joined Rabiu Mohammed in the treatment after aggravating a knee injury on Saturday.
Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah will have to immediately fish for a replacement for the goalkeeper.
Either Asante Kotoko's Isaac Amoako or Adade Foli will be invited to replace him if the injury rules him out of the game.
