Black Satellites Head Coach, Sellas Bobovic Tetteh has assured that Ghana will not return home from the FIFA Under-20 World Cup staged in Turkey without a laurel.
According to him, the teams determination to have been in the finals of the tournament after their setback against France will be channeled to the third-place position play off against Iraq.
Bobovic is very optimist of wining the bronze medal to redeem the image of his team and as well as putting a smile on the faces of Ghanaian football enthusiasts.
At least we have to fight for it (the bronze medal). We are now in the position to fight for bronze so I dont know why we shouldnt go in for it. We just need to speak to the boys and motivate them and let them know that you cannot go back empty handed, at least you have to get something as a credit for your effort.
they have done so well to at least get something home, he told journalists ahead of the match on Saturday.
After missing the opportunity to be in the grand finale of the ongoing FIFA Under-20 World Cup, the Black Satellites will meet Iraq in the third-place match schedule on Saturday.
