AshantiGold are closely monitoring the situation of goalkeeper Isaac Amoako as the shot-stopper is set to quit Kotoko over the coming weeks.
The experienced keeper has spent close to seven seasons in Kumasi and is ready to move on after playing second fiddle to Burkinabe international Abdoulaye Soulama last season.
Kotoko officials are trying to talk Amoako out of his decision to leave the club and are presenting him with a new offer.
But the 27-year-old seems to have made up his mind to leave.
Amoakos decision has put AshGold who are looking for a replacement for the departed Fatau Dauda on red alert.
The Miners have announced they want a backup for Robert Dabuo who joined the club last season.
AshGold CEO Kudjoe Fianoo is believed to have already spoken to the Amoako and he is willing to move to Obuasi.
