Accra Hearts of Oak defeated Kpando Heart of Lions 2-1 in the 20th week of the Glo Premier league game played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Lions took the lead in the 18th minute through Kweku Andoh�s free kick, but skipper Mahatma Otoo equalized for Hearts in the 27th minute with a powerful shot, after going past two defenders of the visitors.
Both sides labored in vain to take the lead before the close of the half.
Lions lost their number one goalkeeper Nana Bonsu through injury in the second half and had his placed taken by former Black Stars goalie, Stephen Ahorlu.
Ahorlu�s failure to make a first time grab of Stephen Tetteh�s cross gave Hearts the second goal and the winner in the 75th minute, as Joseph Mugre was on hand to slot in the ball.
Lions could have equalized in the 84th minute, but Kojo Edem�s shot was blocked by keeper Tetteh Luggard
