Ghana goalkeeper Abdul Fatawu Dauda is relishing a new challenge at his next probable destination after hitting the limelight with the Black Stars in South Africa.
The former Okwahu United Goalkeeper believes he has learned a lot from his debut tournament experience and hopes to maintain his fine form for a consistent period of time.
Fatawu told Storm FM "I never thought of been the first choice goalkeeper before we made the trip to South Africa but I got a sudden self belief when I took to the post in our friendly against Egypt and that is how it all started".
"I have gained so much experience from the tournament and personally I can say that there were a lot of things I didnt do previously that I have come to know now so seriously am going to work on that wherever I go now." He added
The gloves-man who went viral after his famous lions roar celebrations also had some reserved words for the head coach of the team.
"Kwasi Appiah is a noble gentle man who always sticks to his grounds. He wanted to win the trophy for Ghanaians but things didnt go his way so I plead with all Ghanaians to keep faith in him because very soon he will do great things with this nation".
