TP Mazembe owner Moise Katumbi has donated US$ 100,000 to Asante Kotoko for the clubs Youth Academy.
The amount will be used to start the construction of the multi-purpose one storey hostel facility.
Katumbi made the promise on the visit of Kotokos International Relations Consultant, Kwame Baah-Nuakoh, when he travelled to Congo to negotiate on the transfer of two Daniel Nii Adjei and Yaw Frimpong.
In that regard, Moise Katumbi Chapwe will donate US$ 100,000 to Kotoko to start the building of the Kotoko Academy Hostel, Baah-Nuakoh said.
What he will get in return for his good gesture would be the naming of a wing of the hostel after him, and also the display of T.P Mazembes plaque to honour them as sponsors of the project.
Kotoko have also signed a five-year partnership deal with the DR Congo outfit.
The Ghanaian champions will camp in Lubumbashi for two weeks in January ahead of their 2012 CAF Champions League qualifiers.
