Fred Crenstil, Chief Executive of Accra Hearts of Oak has indicated to the Board of Directors of the club, that he is not interested in pursuing a renewal of his three year contract with the club.
The three year contract with the club expires on Wednesday, October 4.
Crenstil, in a correspondence to the Board of Directors of the club on Monday, October 1, told the top hierarchy of the club that, he has no plans of seeking for a renewal.
Ashford Tettey-Oku, Administrative Manager of Accra Hearts of Oak confirmed this to the GNA Sports on Tuesday.
He however stated that, Crenstil did not resign as the CEO contrary to media reports and expressed worry over the way the media has captured the story.
Tettey-Oku also denied media reports that, he has been asked by the Board of Directors to act as the CEO.
He said the Board is yet to take a decision on the way forward.
