Heart of Lions officials are bemoaning the lack of support from their ex players who have made it in Europe.
The Kpando-based club have seen a massive decline in their fortunes after being hit by a serious financial crisis.
And club officials are left bitterly disappointed with what they call sheer ingratuity on the part of some of their ex players who used the club as a launch pad to land lucrative deals abroad.
We will not throw our hands in despair with the conduct of some of our former players, Lions Team Manager Foster Alhassan told Angel FM.
They have shown serious ingratuity after using the club to get lucrative deals abroad.
Jerry (Akaminko) has been doing his best. He has been visiting our club President every now and then but others dont even remember where they came from.
It is not all about money, but they should just come and inspire and advice the boys.
John Boye and Adiyiah (Dominic) have really disappointed, we dont even see them.
Heart of Lions finished 12th in the just ended league campaign just four points above the final relegation spot.
