Kumasi Asante Kotokos key forward Ahmed Toure has been out of the country since the break of the first department of the Glo Premier League.
The strikers absence has generated rumours among the sporting family: While some have said the player is contemplating shifting camp to the Rainbow family Accra Hearts of Oak, others have linked him to a return to his former club Asec Mimosas of Cote dIvoire.
Revelations from the camp of the Ivorian side indicate that the player has been training with them since leaving Ghana.
But the management of Kotoko has rubbished the rumours admitting the fact that indeed the player is flirting with his former club just to maintain his razor sharp form.
Toure, who rejoined Kotoko midway last season, made a mark by emerging as the countrys best performer and has been a consistent player for Kotoko, scoring some crucial goals for the current league leaders.
At a point, the Ivorian, who speaks the local dialect, Twi fluently considered switching nationality to play for the Black Stars.
