Benouza Mohammed has been appointed the center referee to handle Ghana�s crunch Nations Cup semi final tie with Zambia.
The Algerian referee will be assisted by Moroccan Achik Redhouane, Burundian Birumushahu Jean-Claude with Djameil Haimdoui of Algeria serving as the fourth official.
Benouza, 49 was the same official who rightly sent off defender John Mensah for a professional foul on Peter Odemwingie in the 2008 Nations Cup quarter final tie between Ghana and Nigeria.
