Ghana midfielder Albert Adomah scored a superb goal for Bristol City in their 3-2 home defeat to Reading on Wednesday night just days before he joins the Black Stars.
The 23-year-old lobbed a fine left footed effort from the center of the penalty area to put Keith Millens side ahead on 23 minutes, Brett Pitman added the second 14 minutes into the second half.
But the visitors fought from behind through Adam le Fondre and Jobi McAnuff to keep the scoring two-all.
Just when the game seemed to be heading for a draw, Mathieu Manset left it late with a neat finish on the 90th minute.
The defeat means Adomahs club remain at the foot of the table.
But the Ghana wingers performance means he is in good form ahead of the Black Stars camping in Kenya from Sunday.
