Ex-Asante Kotoko coach Abdul Karim Zito is the latest to apply for Ghana Under-17 team job, Ghanasoccernet.com has leant. Zito, who has long eyed the national juvenile side post, has now joined ex-Heart of Lions coach Paa Kwesi Fabian, Great Olympics Ken Augustt and Dutchman Hans Van der Plyum.
The ex-international is keen to get back into mainstream football coaching after he quit relegated BA Stars side last season.
The Ghana Football Association has declared that interested coaches should apply for the vacant junior national team jobs.
The deadline for applications has been fixed for 21 September.
