English League Two side Bristol Rovers have announced the signing of England-born Ghanaian winger Joe Anyinsah on free transfer following his release from Charlton Athletics.
The 26-year-old, who started his career with Championship side Bristol City, scored five goals in 24 appearances for the Addicks last season.
I had a bit of a think about what I wanted to do over the summer, Anyinsah told BBC Radio Bristol.
I liked the managers ambition and the plans he had for the club so Im really pleased everything is sorted.
Anyinsah admits that joining Rovers was a tough decision to make after growing up as a Bristol City fan.
To be honest, I did [have to think]. As soon as I heard about it I thought Rovers? Im a City boy!
But thats football and theres a few players that have done that now.
