The Life Patron of Asante Kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, will disband the Interim Management Committee in charge of the club for non-performance.
The Alhaji Nje-led team have failed to steer the club in the top flight and last Sunday's exit from the Caf Champions League nailed their coffin. Kofi Kodua Sarpong, a former Chief Executive of Tema Oil Refinery, has been tipped as the new man to handle the club.
He will chair the club's board of directors and will be tasked to appoint a substantive Chief Executive. Kotoko are struggling in the Glo Premier League where they lie 8th but have a game in hand on Wednesday against New Edubiase.
