New Edubiase FC suffered its first home defeat when they lost 02 to Bechem Chelsea in their 9th Week Glo Premier League encounter at the Obuasi Len Clay sports stadium on Sunday.
After a scoreless first half, which both sides wasted a number of scoring chances, it was the visitors, Chelsea who opened the floodgates in the 55th minute through Yaw Alexander.
Chelsea continued to mount pressure on Edubiase and it came as no surprise when they succeeded in increasing their goal tally to two in the 60th minute through Obed Owusu's strike.
The home team lifted up their game in an effort to redeem their image and home invisibility and pressed for at least a consolation but all their efforts eluded them until referee William Agorvi whistled for the end of proceedings.
