The Algerian football team will start preparatory training in the south of France, beginning December 27, 2009 up to January 7, 2010.
The Coach, Rabah Saadane will use the opportunity to make adjustments before the kick off of the Orange Africa Cup of Nations 2010.
Qualified for its third World Cup following its previous participations in 1982 and 1986, Saadane does not undermine the Africa Cup of Nations: We will play our best in this tournament even when many in Algeria say the CAN is not the priority of the team.
Everyone still holds nostalgic memory of the extraordinary victory the team had against Germany in 1982 and hope to see the Greens prolong this performance, which made the world to discover Algeria.
Rabah Saadanes declaration resonates with the general spirit: Angola 2010 will help us to prepare the World Cup and re-enforce the cohesion in the group. That doesnt stop me from saying that we will bravely play our chances.
Algerias World Cup status makes it one of the difficult teams to beat in Angola, where she will meet, in Group A, Malawi before meeting the host country on the third playing day.
