Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Wednesday put a splendid performance to beat Real Temale United (RTU) 2-1 in the Glo Premier midweek match played at Babayara Stadium.
Kotoko scored their first goal in the 79th minutes after a goalless in the first session of the game through Jordan Opoku, whose terrific shot beat Nana Bonsu in the goal for RTU.
The goal came as a result of a free kick taken by Gideon Baah after substitute Frank Boateng in attempt to beat a defender was brought down just outside the penalty box.
Kotoko improved their game and scored their second goal in the 83rd minutes with Kabiru Imoro heading home a perfect kick taken by Baah again after Samad Oppong was pushed down in the area of their opponents.
RTU managed to redeem a goal just a stroke of the 90 minutes during a time added on through Yussif Azziz, who hit the back of the net with a shot from Sadat Karim's cross.
