Reigning WBO Africa Light Heavyweight and WBO Africa Cruiserweight titles holder, Braimah Kamoko aka Bukom Banku, claims bleaching is not something he will encourage the youth to try.
The boxer dominated media headlines when he bleached his skin, which consequently earned him the new nickname, ‘Banku Flesh’.
According to ‘Bukom Banku’ he has regretted bleaching his skin and that, the act of bleaching is not good for humans.
“The time I was bleaching myself, everyone who sees me, call me ‘Fresh’ but now, the colour of my skin has turned into charcoal and I regret ever bleaching and, I would not encourage anyone to get into the act. It is not good for human being,” he told Asempa Fm.
Meanwhile, the boxer revealed to sportscrusader.com last week that, he is focused on the upcoming December 7 polls, towards which he is vigorously campaigning for the re-election of President John Mahama.
Banku also revealed that he will fight Basit Samir in March 2017.
