Seasoned journalist, Kwesi Pratt has expressed pity for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia taking his own path in his quest to become President in 2025.
According to Kwesi Pratt, he feels strongly for President Akufo-Addo because of the way, to him, his Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his team are treating him.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is scheduled on Wednesday, February 7, to speak to Ghanaians about his vision and in a video heralding his speech day, the Vice President was heard saying though he shares President Akufo-Addo's vision, he (Bawumia) however has a new path.
Reacting to Dr. Bawumia's statement that he has his own vision and wants to chart a new path, Mr. Pratt felt Dr. Bawumia is betraying his boss.
"There is nothing this government has done without Bawumia playing a key role in it, based on his own record", he responded on Peace FM's morning show "Kokrokoo".
Mr. Pratt, in a masked show of sarcasm, expressed solidarity with the President and stated; "My brother, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is tired...Nana Akufo-Addo has become miserable. You (Bawumia and his team) have really troubled Nana Akufo-Addo."
"You claim you are a driver's mate...How can you be a driver's mate?", he queried Dr. Bawumia.

But we heard Prof Atta Mills(late) say that he was his own man and had his own vision different from that of Pres. Rawlings(late) when he Mills was running for president in 2000. If a vice president running to become president does not have his/her own vision, why will he/she vie to become president. Mr Kwesi Pratt has deep rooted hatred for Dr Bawumia. Revisit his other comments about Dr Bawumia on that show and other platforms and you won't be surprised.
Mr Pratt has lost his credibility and relevance. Anything NPP , Nana Addo and Bawumia does, he has a problem about it. So you want Bawumia to copy Akufo Addo 100% without any new initiative from him? Mr Pratt, you are not mocking at Mr Bawumia rather you are disgracing yourself. I think it was about time you retired from journalism to save your little credibility left
Nurtured by NDC and speaks as one of those described by JJ as babies with sharp teeths.
Concert Man
I think those who continue to engage in the service of Kwesi Pratt are so frustrated and helpless that they do not they fail to see how counterproductive his contributions have become. It is quite clear that you lose credibility when your main purpose is to oppose your political opponent, beyond any critical thinking, logical cohesion, or progmatism. Dr. Bawumia has abandoned the president to chart his own course for the presidency, declaring that, he shares the president's vision in principle but he has his own. Of course, he must have his own vision and approach to fulfilling it, otherwise, he may have no locus in the presidency. Sharing the president's vision is a clear indication of continuity that is pitifully lost in the dispensation of Ghanaian opposition multi-party democracy. All this clear context is lost in Kwesi Pratt's journalistic submission, if this is not diabolic.
@Quofi, you're pathetic! How can this be your wish for anyone? What's your benefit to society and humanity? But I'm sure no sane person wishes you die. This is how terrible political party systems have divided us here on this side of the world, how can we then engage in divergent debates aimed at structuring the best strategy for our rapid growth? Strange humans.
this man should die quickly to save us his ***barred word***
