James Kwabena Bomfeh has raised concerns about the behaviour of Ghanaians towards one another.
The former CPP General Secretary, popularly called 'Kabilla', sharing his thoughts on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show regarding national issues, lambasted Ghanaians for being religious but not showing fruits of it.
According to him, over 70 percent "of the professed Christians in this country don't know God", the same way "about 19% of professed Muslims don't know God".
This is because, to him, if Ghanaians were really Godly, they would dissociate themselves from social vices.
"If we know God, hate, hurt will vanish from our politics; will vanish from our public life, will vanish from our civil life. If love prevails in our country, corruption will have no way. Cheating will have no way. Laziness will have no way," he said.

Kabila is making sense, the sense of materialism, greediness, and wickedness has fil the hearts of Ghanaians to the extent that love of God and humanity, sympathy and empathy, sense of care and contentness have vanished in the society. One person's corrupt wealth could be shared among thousand of people to survive and be happy. What are we taking all these and the world to? It's so sad that cheating, fraud, stealing, robbing and defrauding is the other of the day yet we claim to be religous...everybody is showing off and boasting of life and the whole life has become wickedness, my God!May God have mercy on all of us.
Very true from kabila, we re hypocrates that all, many churches n mosques but crime n corruption is the order of the day, look at how we have destroyed our natural resources, sodom n gomorah is far far better than us.
For the first time this guy has said something very sensible. He is very spot-on with his diagnosis. A country where 70% of populace are so-called Christians with over 25% Muslims, how can there be this level of corruption in the country? What values do these faiths teach their followers? We have become very mean towards one another, employees try to steal from their employers whilst employers too don't want to pay fair wages for fair work? Bank workers who are supposed to keep our monies with integrity are colluding to defraud and rob us of our hard-earned savings, there is political patronage and hero-worship. There is no accountability among people in leadership positions, everyone is trying to take unfair advantage of the other, Students trying to cheat in exams and insisting on cheating as if it is their fundamental human right, ethnocentrism, complete breakdown of morals, sexual immorality code-named as slaying. What have we allowed to happen to our country? I am so sad.
