The Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) says his party did not sanction thugs alleged to be NPP sympathizers to attack Ghana’s most-watched private station, Untied Television.
Mr. Richard Ahiagbah in a statement described the incident which has gone viral as “shameful” and not the style of the NPP.
He however rendered an apology to the station and its management after ensuring a thorough investigation to ascertain the source of the order that led to this regrettable incident.
“The NPP had not endorsed or sanctioned the disruptive actions, expressing strong disapproval of such behaviour.” He said.
