Bernard Allotey Jacobs, a former NDC Central Regional Chairman, has cautioned the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Sam George, to watch his utterances.
Sam George has slammed the Bank of Ghana for sending its Head of Security to meet the leadership of the #OccupyBoG protestors and receive their petition.
He labeled the absence of the Bank of Ghana Governor as "disrespect" to the protestors.
"Parliament invites the Bank of Ghana at least twice a year and he has appeared only three times in seven years so it's not strange. It is the height of disrespect that we will come here and he will send the watchman, the watchman at the Bank of Ghana to come and receive the petition."
"Okay, the watchman should come to Parliament as well, when next he needs anything from Parliament he should send the watchman as well but we will be back. We will give the Police some days to rest but we will be back," he said in an interview on TV3.
Reacting to Sam George's scathing remarks about the BoG Security Head, Kwame Asare-Boateng, Allotey Jacobs warned him to "be very careful. He's carved a niche for himself".
He found the comments distasteful questioning the MP's behavior towards Wing Commander Asare-Boateng who served for 26 years in the Ghana Air Force.
"He has made a name for himself and should protect the name but such utterances are not acceptable...It's not nice. It's not the best," Allotey slammed Sam George.

We all know Sam George, Ablakwa and Sam Gyamfi and their disrespect for institutions and people who have achieved more than these guys would ever achieve. They are arrogant, noisy and unintelligent. Yet they talk more. These guys have had no impact on the lives of Ghanaians and I want them to point one single achievement that has inured to the benefits of Ghana apart from enjoying their fat salaries.
Well said, this is a man who got enlisted into the Ghana army, rose through the ranks to the rank of a wing commander, intelligent as he is he went ahead to read law and came out successfully as a lawyer. Having retired from the Ghana army he joined the bank of Ghana as the head of security and you call such a personality a watchman? The retired army officer didn't on his own volunteer to pick the petition, he was directed to do so on behalf of the governor.Today because of Ghana politics, any tomdick and harry some of whom have never worked anywhere in their life on becoming MP's, ministers, MMDCEs, CEO's speak to self personalities any how. To that Sam George boy, but for this ***barred word*** politics in Ghana today, do you have a CV that comes close to the " watchman ". Do you know the party the man votes for during elections? Are watchmen not human beings. Is there no watchman in ningo prampram who voted for you? Are you saying there is no watchman in the tribe you belong to? Are you aware that some of those who joined you in that use less demonstration are children of watchmen? When parliament resumes, call the security men guarding Parliament House watchmen. If you want to live long respect people who are older than you. Your could be worse tomorrow. John Mahama, Haruna Iddrisu, Alhaji Collins Dauda, Cletus Avoka, have all occupied positions in NDC governments over the years which you may never get in your life but they won't use such words on a retired military officer/ lawyer. Continue disrespecting elderly people, we will see where that will send you.
This should tell Ghanaians the kind arrogance these people will display when they get power, people who have not worked before and getting access to power and money on a silver platter. No wonder they are just creating confusion in the system just to win power. Ghanaian media should start asking the NDC what they would do differently.
