@Ohemaa-Ba, we will be in poor financial state because the expenditure of Covid-19, paying workers, teachers, lecturers for nine months with no major revenue from the ports where we get greater part of our revenue. The president said we know how to bring the economy back but cannot bring human back to life. Let's reason devoid of politics, an economy that was touted by every credit agency and after covid we are at this stage, just sit down and think. I have worked with Asda stores for 21 years and prices of products we sell has gone up, some four fold. It is the same everywhere in the world.
You can't justify the demand for your removal by saying that everyone is free to express their opinion. In fact, this attitude is arrogance of the highest order. I believe that, as Finance Minister, you must be concerned about the current poor financial state of the Ghanaian economy. And I believe you are. You may have legitimate reasons, just as you must respect the opinions of others. I think sometimes it's better not to comment on issues than to be disrespectful and assume you know better.
Oga make money aaaaaa. Nana Addo is doing well. Print more money . Infact make we buy dubai go Kyebi.
Let the borrowing minister know that, if he thinks he has prudently managed the economy, God is watching. He’s always quoting the Bible so he should know that the voice of the people is the voice of God. He can’t even call himself a finance minister because all he does is borrowing but not financial engineering. He should remember what happened to the former finance minister Mr. Kwame Peprah after several calls from the NPP caucus in parliament during Rawlings regime to resign due to poor performance. Former President Rawlings shielded him to remain in office. He was jailed for causing financial loss to the state during former President Kufuor regime. I guess we have equally brilliant people in NPP who can do a better job than Ken to bring some relief to Ghanaians.
President Akufo Addo is behind you so you can say such a ***barred word*** talk, because of your 1am meetings if new finance minister come you can’t have it. You pretend to speak like you fear God but you grab contract like something
Why do Ghanaians always think that because one person does wrong we do not have a right to talk about another person when that other person does wrong? @Albert what really is your point in calling out @Takum? So because one person did wrong it is ok for us to continue in this path of corruption? This is really the thinking which emboldens these corrupt politicians to steeal from us! Because they know that no matter what they do people will always defend their wrong deeds and justify them by comparing with previous regimes. No wonder we keep alternating between two set of thieefs who just mess up the country whilst the majority of the people are in poverty! Ghanaians need a change of this mindset.
@Takum, I hear you and i get you. For the comment you have put I wonder how and why you should vote for Mahama. For the man who coined the “mother serpent of corruption “, do you know that he has bought a state property? I bet you should be aware of how they bought them very cheap in a juicy area? You shouldn’t be deceived by them
It is only in Africa people force to stay in office in the name of "serving the people"! You think because your cousin has retained you when you should have resigned you are absolved? There is a higher authority to Whom we are all accountable, including that arrogant and vindictive cousin of yours(a.k.a Mother Serpent of all corruption). His Name is God Almighty and His judgement is fair. You can't do media propaganda with Him and he can't be bought with stolen money . He hears the cry of the innocent whom you have forcefully given haircuts and driven into poverty whiles enriching yourselves and your cronies. Ghanaians may be helpless in making you face retributive justice for your crimes against them(which you know very well) but their God will listen to their cry and answer them. This, you can't deny!
