A political analyst, Dr Osei Owusu Bonsu has advised the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to speedily ensure that the party is united ahead of the 2024 election.
According to him, their just-ended presidential and parliamentary primaries left many cracks within the party and opined that should be resolved in their quest to regain power.
“What the NDC has to do now is to build a united front before any other thing,” He told NEAT FM’s morning show, "Ghana Montie".
NDC’s presidential primaries nearly faced a huge setback after flagbearer aspirant Dr Kwabena Duffuor asked the court to place an injunction on the election.
The one-time finance minister was in doubt about the voters registered prepared by his party for the election.
He later withdrew from the contest which saw President John Dramani Mahama declared as winner by 98.9% of valid votes cast beating off competition from Kojo Bonsu.
But, some members from Dr Duffuor’s camp alluded to the process having been run on a fake register, claiming that the winner can only bask in a fake victory.
