The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Organizer, Sammi Awuku has asked the party members and supporters not to let the opposition NDC's protests ruin the celebration of their victory.
The opposition party supporters have staged series of protests against the Electoral Commission for declaring President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo President-elect following the December 7, 2020 elections.
The party's Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama has declined to accept the election verdict, claiming election fraud on the part of the Electoral Commission.
Reacting to the NDC's post-election behaviour, Sammi Awuku urged his party faithfuls to be unperturbed by the protests going on stressing the NPP's win is unobjectionable.
" . . I can assure our supporters, it is a well-deserved victory. Enjoy yourselves but let's celebrate in moderation," he said on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo".
