The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that it will be going on break for the holidays.
In a statement signed by the Commission's Deputy Commissioner in charge of Corporate Services, Dr Eric Bossman Asare, the break will start from Wednesday 23rd December 2020 to 19th January 2021.
"Following the successful and peaceful conduct of the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections, Management has decided that the Commission will break for Christmas and New Year on Wednesday, 23rd December 2020 and resume duty on Tuesday, 19th January 2021".
"On behalf of the Electoral Commission, I wish you All a Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year," the statement added.
Meanwhile, the NDC is protesting over the results of the 2020 election.
