The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been urged to help the National Identification Authority (NIA) make the Ghana Card registration exercise a success.
The member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency said since the NDC made a U-turn in their decision not to take part in the exercise, ‘they have a moral responsibility to help make it successful’.
If you may recall, the NDC had urged its members to stay away from the Ghana card registration until the NIA includes the Voter's ID card as one of the requirements.
However, they later changed their mind and encouraged its members to register.
Frank Annor Dompreh who was speaking on Peace FM's ‘Kokrokoo’ program, Monday commended the opposition party for their change of mind.
