Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr., has suggested that if Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo is being persecuted for his involvement in a leaked tape, others who have also been caught on tape should go through same.
“Pick-pockets have been arrested and then if all of them are released and only one is being taken to court, then there is a problem,” he said while contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’.
Kwesi Pratt was speaking to the NDC Chairman’s leaked tape and matters arising.
An Accra High Court hearing the case of Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Tuesday morning adjourned it to May 16, 2019.
Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo appeared in Court on Monday over a leaked tape involving him in the company of his lawyers: Abraham Amaliba, Tony Lithur, Dominic Ayine and Edudzi Tamakloe, as well as some kingpins of the NDC including former President and Presidential Candidate of the NDC, John Mahama.
The Chairman has been charged with conspiracy to cause harm and assault against a Public Officer.
He is being charged alongside a Deputy National Communication Officer of the party, Kwaku Boahen.

Ei, Pratt and NDC. He has LOST his credibility because of BLINDLY defending NDC all the time whether good or bad!
This man has an opinion on everything under the sun. ahba He has been talking saaa since the 1980s oo
Indeed adwene nko 3na nyansa nso nko ooooo
See the NDC communicator Pratt? He is pushing the same argument as what the NDC is doing. Yet he doesn't want to be referred to as NDC sympathizer. Plotting murder and kidnapping is not and issue to be toyed with. 1diot stomach journalist.
Let NDC also take those 'leaked tapes'to court and stop the childish behaviour.
