Former Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Dr. Hanna Bissiw, joined the "Aagbe wo" demonstration on Thursday to protest against the violence recorded during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election, and to demand that the Ghana Police and government punish the perpetrators.
In the picture above, she can be seen holding a 'bloody widow' placard. But it appears that wasn't the original inscription on the placard. A "printed" part has been deliberately blotted out, and the word 'widow' written in its stead.
This is because, in an earlier image, a gentleman was captured with a 'bloody MP' (picture below) placard in hand, but it is not clear whether it was the same one Madam Bissiw was holding and whether she was the one who cleaned out the printed word and scribbled widow instead.
