Member of Parliament (MP) for Bia East constituency in the Western Region, Richard Acheampong, is highly optimistic of the prospects of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the very near future.
The Bia East MP on Monday, emphatically told host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' that the NDC will return to power, come 2020.
According to him, Ghanaians are earnestly rooting for the NDC to come back to power and steer the affairs of the country once again, because President Nana Akufo-Addo and his government have woefully failed to undertake any transformational initiatives for the nation.
Contributing to a panel discussion on 'Kokrokoo', Hon. Richard Acheampong, held the view that the Akufo-Addo administration, has so far not caused any significant change in the lives of Ghanaians, claiming the "people are looking for change. They know it is the NDC that will salvage the situation confronting us. You can see that people want change".
He sought to revive the hope of Ghanaians saying "there is a wind blowing and that wind signifies it is only the NDC that can rescue Ghanaians from their hardships”.
