The National Vice Chairperson of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mrs. Betty Mould Iddrisu has opined that the party owes Ghanaians a duty to rescue them from the “monumentally 'super incompetent' New Patriotic Party government in 2020 general elections.”
The NDC, across the country, went into a congress on Saturday, September 1, 2018 to elect officers to manage the affairs of the party for the next four years.
In her congratulatory message to all candidates who emerged victorious she indicated "Ghanaians are clamouring for the comeback of the NDC and we must build on the gains from the outcome of the regional conferences because we owe it to Ghanaians to rescue them from the monumentally super incompetent NPP government".
The aspiring National Chairperson, used the opportunity to wish all newly elected Regional Executives who emerged victorious and said the victory is for the NDC adding that the new executives are obligated to justify the confidence and trust reposed in them by the delegates.
"I extend warm wishes to all the newly elected Regional Executives who emerged victorious in yesterday's conference. This is a victory for the NDC and so it is incumbent on the new executives to justify the confidence and trust reposed in them by the delegates of our great party. The onus lies on you to mend old bridges and build new ones to ensure that we go into the 2020 elections stronger and united", she said.
She seized the opportunity to appeal to the victors and losers to remain united and work together to win elections 2020.

BETTY MOULD IDDRISU CONGRATULATES NEWLY ELECTED NDC REGIONAL EXECUTIVES
I would like to congratulate my party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the highly successful and incident free regional conferences held across all the ten (10) regions in Ghana. This is a yet again a giant step in our reorganization effort which has reinvigorated the support base of our party.
I extend warm wishes to all the newly elected Regional Executives who emerged victorious in yesterday's conference. This is a victory for the NDC and so it is incumbent on the new executives to justify the confidence and trust reposed in them by the delegates of our great party. The onus lies on you to mend old bridges and build new ones to ensure that we go into the 2020 elections stronger and united.
I am overwhelmed by the enthusiasm, zeal and passion with which party people participated in this very important process and this gives me confidence that the NDC is on course for victory in 2020. Ghanaians are clamouring for the comeback of the NDC and we must build on the gains from the outcome of the regional conferences because we owe it to Ghanaians to rescue them from the monumentally super incompetent NPP government.

You see, Nana is a first class politician who has clearly defined his policy and thoughtfully coined a powerful slogan, 'Ghana beyond Aid' to embody and reflect his vision. Which seems to be appealing to most of the World powerful leaders and finding a positive response. I was emotionally touched when I heard OYE, Nana's favorite song being played for him, to welcome him to China. A friendly gesture, indeed. I am not saying this to scare away NDC from the 2020 elections, but to contest the caliber of Nana and his NPP to date, you really have to tighten your belt in terms of policy message and political expediency. Propaganda, populism and lose polemics can never be a match for Nana, the President, and his NPP. And I strongly warn NDC to discard playing the tribal card of bigotry. That would clearly be counterproductive and NDC would suffer bitterly for it. For, the Ghanaians have grown out of the status quo-politics of deceit, boys with sharp teeth mantra and repetitions of lies for ostensible truth. And I bet, 20% execution of NPP promises and manifesto would put her out of reach for NDC in terms of its multiple effects, competence, credibility and fulfilling the aspirations of many Ghanaians. The dynamics of World Politics today, put good Leadership in African Politics at advantage to boost and own wise investments in Africa. So far I see some hope in Goosie Tanoh for the NDC at least to bring NDC, to break away from Legon campus type of politics. Goosie seems determined to start from grassroots work, to transform NDC into real, practical, policy and issue-based politics relevant to solving the economic and social problems facing Ghana and Africa to date.

Who said NDC has won an election before? Since 1992, NDC has never won any election before. In 1992, we used "adaka mu yesum" and the opposition did not go to parliament. 2008 was rigged according to Dr, Afari Gyan;- and so, which election has NDC won in this country? 2020 is a cool chop. This is going to be a real election That will bring the end of NDC. NDC will be a past story mark my word.
