A vehicle belonging to the outgoing Member of Parliament (MP) of the Ledzokuku constituency, Mrs Benita Sena Okity-Duah was yesterday vandalised at her residence in Accra.
The windscreen of a Hyundai Santa Fe parked at her Teshie residence was destroyed by stones that were thrown into the house by an eyewitness.
According to the eyewitness Georgina Dogbe who was present in the house when the incident happened said it was shortly after Mrs Okity-Duah lost the Ledzokuku parliamentary seat to the New Patriotic Party candidate, Dr Okoe Boye.
She alleged that the destruction was caused by NPP supporters who besieged the residence in celebrations, throwing stones into the compound.
She said the Teshie police intervened to arrest some of them.
When the Daily Graphic got to the Teshie Police Station to confirm the arrest, the Station Officer was not present to confirm the arrest.
