Hundreds of people mostly New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters in the Bunkprugu Constituency in the Northern Region have lined up on roads to welcome the flag bearer of the party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo into the constituency.
Nana Akufo Addo and his running mate, Alhaji Dr Mahamadu Bawumia together with some key party stalwarts are in the region to start a four-day tour.
Some of the cheerful supporters carried placard bearing inscriptions such as: "Nana must come at all cost", "The President for northeners", "The man for the people", and "President we can trust" among others.
Some of the areas that will be visited by Nana Addo and his team during the four-day tour include, Bunkprugu, Walewale and its adjourning communities in the Mamprugu enclave, Eastern Corridor areas, Yapei, Damongo, Tamale, Sawla, and Daboya.
In some communities along the Bunkprugu road, for instance, some jubilant supporters of the party blocked their roads in order to compel Nana Addo to stop and address them without just passing through their communities.
