Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ade Coker says that the 3.6 million cedis payment to Selassie Ibrahim to rebrand Metro Mass Transport buses is unreasonable.
Speaking on 'Kokrokoo' on Peace FM, Ade Coker was disgusted that rebranding 116 buses could incur such cost.
According to him, the payment was inappropriate and so, called for further probe.
This is why the Chief of Staff petitioned the Attorney General to review the contract; Ade Coker added.
He supported the call on the Attorney General to provide her findings on the contract in order to ascertain the actual amount that went into the rebranding deal.
“We all admit that the money is unreasonable. Everybody in the NDC admits that the specified amount is unreasonable. It is not good. The money that they stated is not appropriate.”
