Radio Gold's Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini has emerged the winner of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) primary in the Tamale North Constituency in the Northern Region.
Provisional results from 19 out of the total 20 polling stations in the constituency put Suhuyini in the lead with 4,305 votes.
His closest contender, Mr Mohammed Abdul-Salam polled 2,740 votes.
Other candidates are Alhaji Abukari Sumani, 1,158, Alhaji Nabila Mohammed, 54, Mr Abdullah Mohammed Mahama, 200, Dr Abdulai Baba Salifu, 230, and Mr Alhassan Kamal-Deen Mohammed, 442.
