As a presidential staffer, Kofi Wayo expects Stan Dogbe to act in his right senses by setting "reasonable" examples.
The latter’s decision to destroy a voice recorder belonging to Yahaya Kwamoah , a reporter at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation has landed him in hot water.
Leader of the defunct United Renaissance Party, Chuck Kofi Wayo has called on the police to arrest and deal with Stan Dogbe for his unreasonable action against the journalist.
In an interview on Okay FM with Abeiku Santana, the maverick politician stated that such unreasonable actions can make President Mahama unpopular amongst the public.
“He should be arrested and questioned for doing that. As a government official, he is supposed to be a reasonable person and not act like that; he uses tax payers money and can’t go around brutalizing the same people who put food on his table”, Kofi Wayo said.

Aside his call, the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) has also initiated a move to solicit the support of journalists so as to be able to petition President John Dramani Mahama to institute punitive measures against presidential staffer Stan Xoese Dogbe, for his alleged attack on Yahaya Kwamoah.
The foundation believes the proposed petition, is important because "when a journalist is humiliated, it affects the dignity of all journalists".
