National Youth Leader of the Progressive People's Party (PPP), Divine Nkrumah, has called on the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to resolve its internal strife.
Speaking on Peace FM on "Kokrokoo", Divine Nkrumah advised the leadership of the NPP to put their house in order so as to battle the Presidential seat out with the current administration.
According to him, Ghanaians are looking for a formidable opposition party to contest the Presidential elections come 2016 and so, the NPP's internal cracks will only further deepen animosity in the party.
Borrowing a quote from the NPP flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, Divine Nkrumah told host Nana Yaw Kesse that the “NPP is down…As for Nana Akufo; I’m saying that if he says that everything is down, what has he done? What has he done in his own political party which is NPP?”
He further warned Ghanaians not to vote for the NPP if they can't solve their internal problems.
“Ghanaians should not make any mistake to hand over power to NPP because they’re going to waste our time…So they should put their house in order.”
