James Kwabena Bomfeh, former National Youth Organizer of the Convention People's Party (CPP) has called on Ghanaians to embark on continuous nationwide demonstrations to register their displeasure with the way the Mahama-led government is running the economy.
Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo”, James Kwabena Bomfeh partly blamed Ghanaians for the power cuts, "dum sor" in the local parlance; that have characterized the country.
He chided the Ghanaian citizenry for their subservient attitude towards the Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to him, if the entire nation had engaged "in a long battle of demonstration, even one day demonstration; then those of us with stamina take over for two days, three days, one week that ‘let this problem be resolved immediately’, the President and his cabinet would have called for emergency or crisis meeting on this matter.”
To the CPP devotee, Ghanaians must rise to the call on them to embark on demonstrations against the government in order to put the current administration on its toes.
