The NPP says it has not issued any gagging orders to its members in relation to the ongoing National Economic Forum.
The party will therefore not punish any member who attends the forum.
The National Chairman of the NPP, Paul Afoko, told Radio Ghanas correspondent that the outcome of the forum will not reverse government's decision with the IMF.
He said the NPP is aware that the IMF has given a $30 million loan and $10 million grant to government to lay off 300 workers of the Ghana Statistical Service this year, and use part of the money to pay off the affected workers.
