A Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Policy and Research, Samuel Kingsford Serglah, has commended Government for abrogating contracts of some service providers under the GYEEDA programme.
He said the move will now ensure that due process is followed in awarding future contracts.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr Serglah said it will also help Government to save money which would have been lost to service providers who did not deliver as expected.
He suggested that whoever is responsible for awarding shoddy contracts under the GYEEDA programme should be brought to book.
