Audio Attachment:"Insane" Ken Agyapong Must Disclose His Source Of Wealth P.C Appiah Ofori |
Anti-corruption Campaigner and former NPP MP for Asikuma-OdobengBrakwa, PC Appiah Ofori has berated his fellow party member, the Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyepong, for putting up behaviors essentially similar to that of an insane" person.
The former NPP MP was reacting to Hon. Kennedy Agyapong's critique of the National Executive Commission (NEC)'s alleged imposition of unilateral decision on Minority members of Parliament to boycott the ongoing vetting of President Mahamas ministerial nominees by the Appointment Committee of Parliament.
An obviously furious Kennedy Agyepong did not mince words, when he descended heavily on the leadership of the party for taking ill-fated decisions that will not add any shine to the image of the party, but will collapse it in the near future.
Mr. Agyapong insists the decision to boycott the event was not carefully thought-through; since the NPP could have used the occasion to provide evidence about allegations of malfeasance leveled against some of the appointees.
But another NPP stalwart sharply disagrees.
Speaking in an interview on Okay FMs Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, Hon P.C Appiah-Ofori said his indulgence of Kennedy Agyapong's "by-heart" talk had worn out.
He described Mr. Agyapongs style of attacking the leadership of the party as unfortunate and an insane way of reproach and cautioned his colleague MP not to rate himself as a rich man since no Ghanaian knows his source of wealth.
He claims he is rich, I want to challenge him to come out and disclose his source of wealth.
The former Asikuma-OdobengBrakwa MP further stated that Kennedy Agyapong had allowed money to eat into his head and that was making him speak anyhow and alluded to past comements made by the MP on Oman FM which had the potential of creating ethnic tension in the country.
"...some of us are getting weary of constantly featuring on radio programs to apologize on behalf of Kennedy Agyapong anytime he makes inane comments," P.C Appiah-Ofori.
