Some political parties in the Upper West Region have played down the impact the nominated Vice- President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur will make on the fortunes of the NDC in the upcoming general elections.
Many of the activists in the region say Mr. Amissah-Arthur is not bringing anything new to the National Democratic Congress, NDC, because he has been part of the government's economic team since 2009.
