The Electoral Commission has dimissed three of its temporary electoral officials at the Sagnarigu Municipality in the Northern Region.
According to a statement released by the Commission ana signed by its Ag. Director, Public Affairs, Sylvia Annoh, on Saturday 4th July, 2020, the Electoral Commission was formally notified of the theft of eigth (8) Form 1A forms from its District Office at the Sagnarigu Municipality in the Northern Region.
The forms were stolen by a Polling Agent of one of the Political Parties.
"The Commission has however taken steps to dismiss the three Temporary Officials who were manning the registration kits at the District Office in the Sagnarigu Municipality," a part of the statement read.
It further stated that the Commission assures the General Public that it will not shield any staff; permanent or temporary, who engages in misconduct during the Voters Registration Exercise.
