Primaries amid COVID-19
The governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) is expected to have its parliamentary primaries for constituencies where they have sitting MPs on June 20, 2020.
The primaries are expected to be held at the electoral areas and not the previous format whereby all the delegates met to vote at one place.
It is meant to prevent the congregation of many people at one place to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19.)
