The war against Fulani herdsmen in Adeiso has kicked up to another level as chief of the town Osabarima Asare Oduro I has ordered all landlords in the town to produce tenants who are Fulani herdsmen.
Osabarima Asare Oduro I has also declared that any Fulani herdsmen found in the town should be sent to his palace or the police for immediate dispatch out of the town. Any landlord found shielding a Fulani herdsman or his family would face the full wrath of the Traditional Council, he added.
The order follows a protest by chiefs and youths in Adeiso against some Fulani herdsmen who are residing in the town and claiming a portion of land they say was sold to them.
Though the Fulani herdsmen have been forced to go back to their former base in a nearby town, Osabarima Asare Oduro I says it is his responsibility to ensure that the Fulani herdsmen never return to the town hence his order.
Meanwhile, District Chief of Executive of Adeiso, Derrick Bekoe says the assembly has mounted a search for the person who reportedly sold the said parcel of land to the Fulani herdsmen.
