The Environmental Protection Agency, EPA, has cautioned agrochemical sellers against operating without permit.
The Eastern Regional Director of the EPA, Felix Addo-Okyereh, issued the warning at a days training workshop for journalists in the region on pesticide control and management in Koforidua.
Mr Addo-Okyereh said in 2011, of 505 agrochemical shops monitored in the Region, only 15 had permits from the agency, 101 shops had their licenses expired, and those without permit to operate were 389.
